1. Agreement to these Terms
Welcome to MyTabbi.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MyTabbi, including our website, applications, content, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and:

Throughout these Terms, “MyTabbi,” “Tabbi,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Tabbi, Inc.
2. Who we are
MyTabbi is the operating system for cat ownership.
The Service helps users:
- Manage cat profiles
- Track health and care information
- Organize routines and reminders
- Research food products
- Connect with other cat owners
- Share information through social and messaging features
Certain features described within these Terms may be in development and may not yet be available.
3. Eligibility and account registration
To use MyTabbi, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
- Provide accurate and complete account information
- Keep your information reasonably current
You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.
You may register using:
- Phone number and SMS verification
- Google Sign-In (when available)
- Additional profile information you choose to provide
You may not:
- Create accounts for others without authorization
- Share access credentials
- Impersonate another person
- Use false identity information
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.
4. Description of the Service
MyTabbi currently provides features including:
Cat management
- Cat profiles
- Photos
- Health records
- Care routines
- Weight tracking
- Medication tracking
- Veterinary notes
- Document storage
Food features
- Food database
- Barcode scanning
- Reviews and ratings
- Product links
Social features
- Public profiles
- Cat profile pages
- Follows
- Community feed
Messaging
- Direct messages
- Attachments
- GIF integration
- Read receipts
- Presence indicators
Shared cat care
Users may invite trusted individuals to help manage a cat’s profile and records through caretaker permissions.
Notifications

- Activity notifications
- Transactional account communications
Gamification
- Badges
- Streaks
- Achievements
- Activity milestones
The Service may evolve over time. Features may be added, modified, suspended, or removed without prior notice.
5. Beta and experimental features
From time to time, we may release features labeled as:
- Beta
- Preview
- Experimental
- Early access
Examples may include:
- AI assistants
- Marketplace features
- Insurance tools
- Premium subscriptions
- Symptom checkers
- Lost and found tools
Beta features may:
- Contain bugs
- Be incomplete
- Change substantially
- Be discontinued without notice
You use beta features at your own risk.
6. Health, care, and emergency disclaimer
MyTabbi is not:
- A veterinary practice
- A veterinarian
- A medical provider
- A healthcare organization
- An emergency service
Information provided through MyTabbi, including:
- Health logs
- Care plans
- Food information
- AI-generated content
- Symptom tools
- Community discussions
- User content
is provided for organizational, educational, and informational purposes only.
Nothing within the Service constitutes:
- Veterinary advice
- Medical advice
- Diagnosis
- Treatment recommendations
- Emergency guidance
You remain solely responsible for decisions relating to your cat’s care.
Emergency situations
If your cat may be experiencing:
- Injury
- Poisoning
- Respiratory distress
- Seizures
- Severe illness
- Any medical emergency
contact a licensed veterinarian or emergency veterinary clinic immediately.
Do not delay seeking professional care because of information found on MyTabbi.
7. User content and license
Ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit, including:
- Photos
- Documents
- Reviews
- Messages
- Cat information
- Profile information
License to MyTabbi
By uploading content, you grant Tabbi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Host
- Store
- Process
- Reproduce
- Display
- Distribute
that content solely for purposes of operating, securing, improving, moderating, and providing the Service.
This license ends when content is deleted, except where:
- Backups remain temporarily
- Retention is legally required
- Necessary copies exist for system integrity
Your responsibility
You represent and warrant that:
- You own the content you upload, or
- You have permission to upload it
and that the content does not violate law or third-party rights.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
Illegal conduct
- Violate any law
- Commit fraud
- Misrepresent information
- Engage in deceptive practices
Harmful behavior
- Harass others
- Threaten others
- Promote violence
- Promote hate or discrimination
- Bully users
Animal harm
- Promote animal cruelty
- Encourage neglect
- Facilitate abusive practices
- Misrepresent animal welfare conditions
Professional misrepresentation
- Pretend to be a veterinarian
- Present misleading medical credentials
- Offer dangerous health advice as fact
Technical abuse
- Reverse engineer the Service
- Attempt unauthorized access
- Circumvent security controls
- Deploy malware
- Scrape data at scale
- Interfere with Service operations
We may remove content and restrict accounts at our sole discretion.
9. Social, messaging, and community features
MyTabbi includes social features and private messaging.
We are not responsible for:
- User-generated content
- User interactions
- Statements made by other users
- Accuracy of information shared by users
You are responsible for your interactions with others.
We reserve the right to review, moderate, remove, restrict, or investigate content when necessary.
10. Co-owner and caretaker permissions
You may grant other users access to cat profiles.
By granting access:
- You choose what permissions to provide
- You assume responsibility for that decision
- You understand others may view or modify shared information
MyTabbi is not responsible for disputes between co-owners, caretakers, or household members.
11. Third-party links and external services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites and services.
Examples include:
- Chewy
- Product manufacturers
- Veterinary providers
- Insurance providers
- Shared external links
We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for:
- Their content
- Their products
- Their privacy practices
- Their services
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
We may earn a commission when you purchase through certain product links. That does not change the price you pay.
12. Premium subscriptions and payments (when available)
Certain features may become available through paid subscriptions.
When introduced:
- Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider
- Subscription pricing will be disclosed before purchase
- Subscriptions may automatically renew until canceled
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation prevents future billing but does not provide refunds for completed billing periods.
Refunds
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
13. Marketplace features (when available)
Future versions of MyTabbi may include marketplace functionality.
When available:
- MyTabbi acts solely as a platform facilitator
- Buyers and sellers transact directly
- MyTabbi is not the seller
- MyTabbi does not take possession of goods
Users are responsible for:
- Listings
- Descriptions
- Pricing
- Shipping
- Compliance with applicable laws
We do not guarantee:
- Product quality
- Safety
- Legality
- Accuracy of listings
We may remove listings that violate our policies.
14. Intellectual property
The Service, including:
- Software
- Branding
- Logos
- Design
- User interface
- Features
- Content created by Tabbi
is owned by Tabbi, Inc. or its licensors.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not:
- Copy
- Modify
- Distribute
- Sell
- License
- Reverse engineer
any portion of the Service.
15. Copyright complaints
If you believe content infringes your copyright, please contact legal@mytabbi.app.
We may investigate and remove content where appropriate.
16. Privacy
Your use of MyTabbi is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
You may request account deletion through Settings → Account or by contacting support@mytabbi.app.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if:
- You violate these Terms
- We believe your actions create risk
- Required by law
- Necessary to protect users or the Service
Upon termination:
- Access rights end immediately
- Certain content may be removed
- Certain records may be retained as permitted by law
18. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TABBI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY
- RELIABILITY
- AVAILABILITY
We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will always be available
- Content will always be accurate
- Errors will not occur
- Features will meet every expectation
19. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
TABBI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO TABBI DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM; OR
- $100 USD
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tabbi, Inc., its officers, employees, affiliates, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your infringement of third-party rights
- Content you upload or distribute
21. Dispute resolution and arbitration
Please read this section carefully.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Arbitration
Except for matters eligible for small claims court, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted in Arizona.
Class action waiver
You agree to bring claims only on an individual basis.
You waive participation in:
- Class actions
- Collective actions
- Representative actions
Jury trial waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, both parties waive the right to a jury trial.
Arbitration opt-out
You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to legal@mytabbi.app within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time.
Updated Terms will be posted on the Service with a revised effective date.
For material changes, we may provide notice through:
- In-app notifications
- Website notices
Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
23. General provisions
Entire agreement
These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Tabbi regarding the Service.
Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No waiver
Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
Assignment
Tabbi may assign these Terms without restriction. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.
Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
No professional relationship
Use of the Service does not create:
- Veterinary relationship
- Medical relationship
- Insurance relationship
- Legal relationship
- Fiduciary relationship
